“Fleetwood will be remembered as a loyal, loving, and very content man accepting what the Lord had given him in his life. He worked hard at his job in the library system at U.T. for 46 years, there was no other place he would have rather been than in his home of over 55 years in the Allandale subdivision, he was devoted to his family, and he was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. At the time of his death Fleetwood was a member of Great Hills (formerly Allandale) Baptist Church where he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1983. Over the years at Great Hills, Fleetwood served in the children's ministry and adult Sunday school, the bus ministry, the prayer ministry, and other areas of the church. He was a member of the adult choir for over 25 years and a part of the senior adult choir, Promise Singers, for several years.”
