- Imogene was employed in the civil service at Fort Hood. Her career was cut short by early medical retirement due to severe allergies. She worked from home as a sales representative for many craft projects and for Avon products. She enjoyed the outdoors and shared her husband's hobby of hunting. She stayed active, even though her allergies resulted in frequent illness. She was an excellent cook and Christmas dinner of the Alexander Adams family was always in their home.
