    • Clinton graduated from Brackenridge High School in San Antonio, Texas in 1935. He was a member of the Mid-30s Alumni Association. he entered the Army in 1942 serving in the Army Corps of Engineers during World War II. He participated in the Normandy Invastion where he landed at Utah Beach. After the war, he worked for the Corps of Engineers as a construction inspector at Fort Sam Houston until his retirement in 1978. Clint and his wife Helen moved to Austin in 1983. Clint was a member of the Order of the Sons of Hermann Harmonia Lodge #1. He was a charter member of the Men’s Garden Club in San Antonio and continued his gardening hobby in Austin. He was active in his neighborhood association. His advice was sought by friends and neighbors on a variety of gardening and home maintenance matters. Clint was a member of the Lutheran church.
