In San Antonio she met Miss Lydia Pagel with whom she lived for many years. Olga was a member of the Presbyterian Church in San Antonio and spent many hours devoted to its work. She also enjoyed her home and flowers, spending many hours tending her yard. She retired from teaching at the age of sixty-five. Soon after retirement her health began to fail.
