- Paula attended the public schools, and as a child was very active in sports. She was married to Henry Hein on November 28, 1923, and two sons were born to this union, Henry M., who gave his life for his country in World War II, and Robert who is a pharmacist.
Paula’s hobbies were traveling and club work. She had visited every state in the United States, also Canada, Europe, Mexico and Cuba. She had a record of being a local, state, and national president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Retail Druggist Association, past president of the American Legion Auxiliary, past Matron of the Eastern Star and past president of the Women of St. John’s Lutheran Church. Her church work was very dear to her and she had been a faithful worker for many years in the Lutheran Church in San Antonio, Texas.
