    • “Roy’s mother died when he was very young and was left in the care of both his paternal and maternal grandparents. He attended school in Austin and served in World War II in Europe. He lived in Corpus Christi, Texas for 46 years where he worked or the Missouri Pacific Railroad as a clerk for 40 years. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and of the Brotherhood of Railroad Clerks. Roy’s hobby was woodworking. He enjoyed making many things from wood, but one of his favorite was his handmade wood domino set.”
